Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on December 13, 1989 in Pennsylvania's West Reading. Swift is a pop/country songwriter and singer for over 20 years. The stories she tells of her romance and love at first sight has earned her the acclaim of many during the 21st Century. Swift started to exhibit an interest in the music industry from a very young age. Swift's career grew rapidly from children's play roles and her first public appearance front of thousands. In 2011, Swift at the age of 11, performed The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers' basketball game. In the year following, she started writing songs of her own. Swift was inspired to write her own material by country music artists genre, such as Shania Twain or the Dixie Chicks. Swift relocated from Pennsylvania together with her parents, in Tennessee to Hendersonville when she reached 13 and decided to spend her time in contacting the country music labels.
