Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka Shankar is a Brit-American sitarist as well as a music producer. She won the British House of Commons' Shield, which is the youngest and also the first female recipient. Alongside the nine Grammy awards, she was also the very first Indian-origin musician to perform in the live ceremony. Anoushka Sitar Shankar is the Indian young sitar singer. She is a student and child of Ravi Shankar. She spent her childhood bouncing back and forth from London and New Delhi. The first time she performed was at New Delhi when she was only 13 years old. Later she moved in Encinitas CA where she graduated from High School with honours in 1999. Her career as a musician and performer is impressive, despite her age. She frequently joins her father in performances this she's been doing for several years. She released her debut album in 1998. dropped Anourag as her debut album as a solo artist. In 2002, she released her Grammy Nominated Live At Carnegie Hall. Apart from performing in all of the largest venues, she also has a long stage career. Her career doesn't just include music. Bapi The of My Life of My Live is her 2002 novel, and was a tribute Ravi Shankar. In addition, she has appeared in a number of films. In 2003, she was in the movie Dance Like a Man where she is the role of a teenage Bharat Natyam dancer. Anoushka Shakar's career as a professional will continue to grow and develop. After that, she moved to California for high school. She began learning music when she was nine years old and was a sitar player to commemorate the 75th anniversary of her father's birth in Delhi the following year. Her father traveled around the world with her and she gained many experiences. As she was teenagers, Anoushka performed at Carnegie Hall at Peter Gabriel's WOMAD Music Festival. Her artistry and musicianship was recognised by British Parliament as being among the top at Asian Arts.
