Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also director of the Center for Public Policy Research. It is believed that she was the one responsible as the pioneer of modern studies of eyewitnesses' memory, and children as witnesses. Professor Goodman who is a prolific author with many research publications as well as numerous grants, is also the recipient of numerous national and global distinctions. She has collaborated with numerous organisations and governments across the world on policy and research relating to child victims of the legal system. She currently serves as advisor to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center at Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She holds memberships in many professional associations, including the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is a member of Psychonomics Society, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a founding Member, International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman has served as president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division, as well as three Divisions: Child and Family Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
